  1. Bill,
Thanks for providing a link to this excellent article. The fact that we require someone like Azerrad to devote himself to demolishing the specious, poisonous claims of those who are invested in pushing the JQ is, however, very distressing.

    1. Glad you think it’s excellent, Vito. I read it one time, but it bears multiple readings. Immanently speaking, I don’t see too much to be merry about this Xmas given the state of the world (Brentwood, Providence, Brookline . . .) and the unfathomable depth of political disagreement.

      Merry Christmas in any case.

  2. The article is tendentious and self-serving (written, as it is, by a jewish author); if I had a student give me a paper as poorly reasoned, he would get a failing grade.

But that is as may be: read. the. talmud.

Oh, and i hope you all had a blessed birth-of-our-saviour-and-king day.

    1. Not surprisingly doran doesn’t mention a single actual flaw in Azerrad’s reasoning besides – surprise! — his Jewish ethnicity. The fact that an antisemite like doran has or has had students and graded their papers is concerning. Freedom of speech – of course. But doran’s hatred is pathological and consistent (I can only guess what he says and does in less moderated circumstances than on this blog).

  3. Hatred of the Jews is an extension of Lucifer’s rebellion against God. Good luck if you are on that doomed side.
