Taqiyya

Gaza's Health Ministry said the Palestinian death toll from the war has climbed to 30,320. The ministry doesn’t differentiate between civilians and combatants in its figures, but says women and children make up around two-thirds of those killed.

That many? Could be. But the Islamic doctrine of taqiyya gives one a reason to be skeptical.

I have no doubt, however, that many more Gazans have died than Israelis. But whose fault is that? 'Gazan' is a more accurate moniker than 'Palestinian,' don't you agree?

    Interesting, it suggests that there are cult-like qualities that animate this religion, ones not properly appreciated by its apologists vis-a-vis its influence and how it exploits and manipulates the very human desire for belonging and having a deep sense of purpose. All religions do this, but usually aimed at a certain transcendental vision, not one grounded in the power and influence of this plane. This is probably very much shaped by its origins (especially the craftiness, tactical positions, etc.), male-dominance, and that cult of personality qualities.
    I wonder if we could sort religions in those grounded in peace, and those in a more war-like, bellicose nature. Bill maybe this points to your derision about its immaturity?
