Easy to call for a cease-fire when you have no skin in the game. Would the Argentinian call upon the armed might of the Italian state if the Vatican came under Islamist attack? What do you think?

Memo to Mr. Pope:
War got rid of Slavery in the USA and Hitler in Europe.
I suppose you would rather have those two, than war?
Here is a Churchill quote for you, Mr. Pope:
“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may be even a worse fate, you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”
Good luck, Mr. Popey—wopey. -
P.S.
Popey:
I didn’t go to mass today, and I didn’t put any money in the plate.
I did ride my bicycle. -
Popey dopey.
>>I didn’t go to mass today,<< You don't go to mass any day. I could dilate on the difference between conversational implicature and logical implication, but I need to eat something. -
I look forward to the finding out the difference between conversational implicature and logical implication. I really like this blog.
