Victor Davis Hanson is <a href=\"http:\/\/pjmedia.com\/victordavishanson\/count-me-out-on-syria\/?singlepage=true\" target=\"_self\">against it<\/a>.&#0160; VDH has the better case, as it seems to me.&#0160; <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino;\">The further expenditure of American blood and treasure &quot;to teach locals not to be their tribal selves&quot; (VDH) is a losing proposition.&#0160; We are in deep trouble domestically, and we are going to teach benighted Middle Eastern tribalists&#0160;how to live?&#0160; How has that worked out in the past?&#0160;
