Excellent advice, except for the last item.&#0160; But the advice is incomplete.&#0160; For a rather more complete analysis, see <a href=\"http:\/\/maverickphilosopher.typepad.com\/maverick_philosopher\/2009\/10\/some-principles-of-a-financial-conservative.html\" target=\"_self\">Some Principles of a Financial Conservative<\/a> wherein I proffer advice that is rock-solid, absolutely free, and that also has the interesting property that few will follow it due to the social and moral decline of the nation<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino;\">The article from which I borrowed the above graphic sports this delightfully amphibolous construction: &quot;It&#39;s really hard to be poor . . . .&quot;&#0160; <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino;\">Reading those words, I thought to myself, yes, of course, you really have to work at being poor in this, the greatest and most prosperous nation ever to exist, a country that needs walls to keep people out unlike the commie states that need walls to keep people in.&#0160;&#0160; Anyone can avoid poverty if <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">they practice<\/span> he practices the old virtues and works hard.&#0160; But then I realized that that cannot be the meaning intended in a sentence to be found in the left-leaning Washington <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Com<\/span>Post.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino;\">A textbook example of amphiboly, then.<\/span><\/p>\n<fieldset class=\"zemanta-related\">\n<legend class=\"zemanta-related-title\">Related articles<\/legend>\n<div class=\"zemanta-article-ul zemanta-article-ul-image\" style=\"margin: 0;
