Leiter has made a foolish mistake in attacking me.  He craves status and standing.  But I don't care about status and in any case it is low:  I am a relatively obscure blogger and an academically unaffiliated philosopher.  I have no power and limited influence.  By attacking me and bringing readers to my website, he raises my status and influence while lowering his own.  For what people will learn here about Leiter can only damage his reputation, especially among the young philosophers who are coming up and are not yet fully apprised of his antics.<\/span><\/p>\n

UPDATE (6\/4):  929 pageviews at 4 AM.  And the day is yet young.  Way to go, Brian! You are working your way down the ladder of success.
