G. Myers&#39; high-level <a href=\"http:\/\/dgmyers.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_self\">literary weblo<\/a>g this afternoon only to find that its penultimate post, dated 22 July, was the last by Myers.&#0160; The final entry, dated 29 September, by his sister-in-law, records his death.<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino;\">And then I recalled that Myers had written some friendly but trenchant critiques of my amateur forays into his field.&#0160; A search revealed that Myers had written five detailed entries addressing posts of mine.&#0160; Did I ever thank him?&#0160; If memory serves, I never did, and I deeply regret that now.&#0160; I probably wasn&#39;t aware of some of them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino;\">In any case, <a href=\"http:\/\/dgmyers.blogspot.com\/search?q=vallicella\" target=\"_self\">here<\/a> they are.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino;\">I hope his weblog stays online for years to come.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I headed over to D.
