If you practice the custody of the heart, it may save you from unnecessary folly — as delightful as romantic follies can be.  Do you feel yourself falling in love with your neighbor's wife?  Don't tell yourself you can't help it. Don't hijack Pascal's "The heart has its reasons of which reason knows nothing."  Get a grip on yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don't follow the musical example<\/a> of 'The King.'   "Wise men say\/ Only fools rush in\/ But I can't help\/ Falling in love with you."<\/span><\/p>\n

A liberal will accuse me of 'preaching.'  Damned straight I'm preaching. Perhaps I should have saved this for Sunday morning.<\/span><\/p>\n
