Even if it can manage such a response, at this late hour it will be a close-run thing \u2014 and we have already passed the point, I think, where it can recover without some very serious \u201cunpleasantness\u201d. But the choice is now very plain: awaken or die.<\/span><\/p>\n Most likely it will die, I think. (Already there are calls to close down the traditional Christmas-markets for the sake of security.
