In the foothills of the Superstition<\/em> Mountains! Friday cat blogging is an ancient and  venerable tradition in the blogosphere. We pioneers of the 'sphere aim to keep it going. To hell with all you change-for-the-sake-of change 'progressives.'<\/span><\/p>\n

I Ain't Superstitious<\/a>, leastways no more than Howlin' Wolf, but two<\/em> twin black tuxedo cats just crossed my path.  All dressed up with nowhere to go.  Nine lives and dressed to the nines.  <\/span><\/p>\n

And of course you've heard the story<\/a> about Niels Bohr and the horseshoe over the door:<\/span><\/p>\n

A friend was visiting in the home of Nobel Prize winner Niels Bohr, the famous atomic scientist.<\/span><\/p>\n

As they were talking, the friend kept glancing at a horseshoe hanging over the door. Finally, unable to contain his curiosity any longer, he demanded:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNiels, it can\u2019t possibly be that you, a brilliant scientist, believe that foolish horseshoe superstition! ? !\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOf course not,\u201d replied the scientist. \u201cBut I understand it\u2019s lucky whether you believe in it or not.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
