Below, a couple of under-reported recent items that will gladden conservatives while eliciting howls of rage from the nattering knuckleheads of the Left. &#0160;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">A correspondent of mine thinks that Trump has done only one conservative thing: nominated and presided over the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Not so. He has done a number of conservative things. For example, his courageous affirmation of the rule of law anent illegal immigration has reduced it by some 60-70%. &#0160;And that tough talk cost nothing. Good deal, eh? I am put in mind of Grandmaster <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chess.com\/forum\/view\/general\/quota-threat-is-stronger-than-the-executionquot\">Nimzowitsch<\/a>: &quot;The threat is often stronger than the execution.&quot; &#0160;As for the execution of the Great Wall of Trump, give it time. The obstructionist Dems need to be subdued first.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">The two items mentioned below are only the latest of the Orange Man&#39;s conservative accomplishments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/node\/447615\/print\">John Fund<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\"><span class=\"drop\">L<\/span>ast Thursday, President Trump announced the formation of a bipartisan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/the-press-office\/2017\/05\/11\/presidential-executive-order-establishment-presidential-advisory\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">commission to investigate voter irregularities and fraud<\/a> as well as charges of voter suppression in America.&#0160;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/energy-environment\/wp\/2017\/05\/07\/epa-dismisses-half-of-its-scientific-advisers-on-key-board-citing-clean-break-with-obama-administration\/?utm_term=.297e75db97df\">WaPo<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt decided to replace half of the members on one of its key scientific review boards, while Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is \u201creviewing the charter and charge\u201d of more than 200 advisory boards, committees and other&#0160;entities both within and outside his department.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">For my views on voter ID see <a href=\"http:\/\/maverickphilosopher.typepad.com\/.services\/blog\/6a010535ce1cf6970c010535c82845970b\/search?filter.q=voter+fraud\">here<\/a>. &#0160;&#0160;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">Here is a little irony for you. There is voter fraud, and &#39;the dead&#39; are prime offenders. &#0160;And everybody except for a handful of troglodytes has photo ID. &#0160;But crapweasel Dems deny these obvious truths. &#0160;And yet they call us denialists for merely being skeptical about the claim that anthropogenic global warming is such a threat to humanity as to <em>trump<\/em> [I love it!] all others and to demand a radical re-organization of the nation&#39;s economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Why Positive ID at the Polling Places?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">Angelo Codevilla, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.claremont.org\/crb\/article\/the-cold-civil-war\/\">The Cold Civil War<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">Today, states and cities ruled by the Left are seizing disproportionate influence in national politics by counting the votes of non-citizens. California issued drivers\u2019 licenses\u2014de facto voter registration\u2014to a million illegals. Countless localities, such as New York City, Detroit, and Florida\u2019s Broward County, do similar things. A few million votes here and there add up to a wall protecting today\u2019s ruling class as it imposes itself on the rest of the country.
