Almost everyone and everything is &#39;racist&#39; these days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Story <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/article\/449421\/city-councilman-hosing-poop-covered-sidewalks-might-be-racially-insensitive\">here<\/a> (and it is no joke):<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">According to the [Seattle] Times, Councilmember Larry Gossett \u201csaid he didn\u2019t like the idea of power-washing the sidewalks because it brought back images of the use of hoses against civil-rights activists.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">The article did not reveal Gossett&#39;s race. It turns out he&#39;s black.&#0160;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Isn&#39;t it profoundly <em>racist<\/em> for the the author not to mention Gossett&#39;s race so that blacks can get the credit they deserve for having among them a man of his great sensitivity and compassion?<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to &#39;liberals,&#39; we live in an age of race obsession.
