Here is #1:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">Don&#39;t touch a woman without her specific consent. Consent, to&#0160;<em>be&#0160;<\/em>consent, must be informed. Don&#39;t resort to trickery, subterfuge, dissimulation, or manipulation (including getting her drunk or high).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">I would add a qualification: <em>unless she is your wife and you have a loving relationship<\/em>. (And if you don&#39;t share a loving relationship, why are you still married to her?)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">That is a good point about the nature of consent, by the way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">I would say that the above, even with my qualification, is a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rule_of_thumb\">rule of thumb<\/a> (rule of hand?), which is to say that it is broadly accurate.&#0160;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">Suppose you are seated opposite a woman not your wife whom you find attractive and with whom you are enjoying a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/t%C3%AAte-%C3%A0-t%C3%AAte\">t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate<\/a>. She strokes your hand. She has given you a signal that may justify your touching her in a similar way even without explicit consent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">Prudent? Moral? The near occasion of sin? You decide!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">In any case, don&#39;t be an Al Franken. <a href=\"http:\/\/keithburgess-jackson.typepad.com\/blog\/2017\/11\/where-is-his-right-hand.html\">Where is his hand<\/a>?
