The visage of Jeff Dunham&#39;s&#0160; &#39;Walter&#39; alerts you to what&#39;s coming in case you cannot stomach this sort of thing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">1) If you know English, you know that the correct response to &#39;thank you&#39; is &#39;you&#39;re welcome,&#39; not &#39;thank you.&#39;&#0160; So why does almost every guest on Tucker Carlson&#39;s show respond to his &#39;thank you for coming on&#39; with &#39;thank you&#39;?&#0160;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">That pisses me off. Only one guest recently made the correct response.&#0160; I am of course not objecting to the following sort of exchange: <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">&#39;Thank you, Mark Steyn, for that brilliant analysis. You&#39;re welcome, Tucker. And thank <em>you<\/em> for inviting me on.&#39;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">2) To peruse a document is to read it carefully and thoroughly or to examine a matter carefully or at length.&#0160; See <a href=\"https:\/\/en.oxforddictionaries.com\/definition\/peruse\">here<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">Note that peruse means \u2018read\u2019, typically with an implication of thoroughness and care.
