The phrase occurs in this passage:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"t m0 x1 h2 y58 ff2 fs1 fc0 sc0 ls0 ws2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">On the one hand, given that Anderson insists that he cannot be <span class=\"ff5\">satisfied with \u2018a sound&#0160;<\/span>proof that is extremely difficult to understand and that is knowable by only a few\u2019<span class=\"ff2\"> (123), it&#0160;<\/span>seems clear that his \u2018program\u2019 is bound to fail: for surely it is London to a brick that, if his \u2018program\u2019 could be successfully carried out, it would yield a proof that is \u2018extremely difficult to understand and knowable only by a few\u2019.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 11pt;\">The phrase, apparently not in use in the U.
