The miserable Stove, unwilling to to do his homework, and with no understanding of Heidegger&#39;s intellectual antecedents, dismisses as gibberish what is not immediately intelligible to his shallow positivist pate.&#0160; He is a trenchant polemicist in some of his writing, so I am simply responding in kind. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">I need to find that passage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">But let me say something good about old Stove: he was one formidable opponent of the scourge of political correctness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">There are some interesting materials for and against the curmudgeon in my <a href=\"https:\/\/maverickphilosopher.typepad.com\/maverick_philosopher\/stove-david\/\">Stove category.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">De mortuis nil nisi bonum?
