The cards are coming in. While I lack the power to peer into souls to discern motivations, I suspect that many who send pictures of themselves in masks are signalling their politically correct virtue. Or maybe it's a fashion statement they are making.<\/span><\/div>\n

In a restaurant a while back I espied a couple of classy gals, mask-less, engaged in a heavy-duty t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate, leaning in close while eating and talking. Lunch over, they donned their designer masks and strolled out into the open air.<\/span><\/div>\n
