Donovan uses &#39;quite&#39; to mean entirely, but in American English at least it also can mean somewhat.&#0160; Does it have both senses in British English?)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 14pt;\">The article mentions &#39;migrants.&#39;&#0160; Conservatives should not acquiesce in leftist-prog-&#39;woke&#39; language abuse. There are two distinctions here that ought to be respected: illegal-legal; immigrant-emigrant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 14pt;\">&#39;Migrant&#39; manages to elide both distinctions in one fell swoop. Par for the course for a leftist journo. But dumb is the conservative journalist who plays along.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 14pt;\">&#39;lllegal immigrant&#39; and illegal aliens&#39; are the correct terms for what the article calls &#39;migrants.&#39;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 14pt;\">Language matters. It&#39;s a war. Subversion of language is the mother of all subversion. Don&#39;t let the &#39;mothers&#39; get away with it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 14pt;\">&quot;But no person is illegal!&quot; But who ever said that any person was?
