Nothing at all, apparently. The influx of Islam into the West not only <a href=\"https:\/\/thereconquista.com\/articles\/muslim-mayors-western-world\">didn\u2019t stop<\/a>, but accelerated after the towers fell, and New York City \u2014 Ground Zero! \u2014 now has a Muslim mayor who advocates \u201cglobalizing the intifada\u201d. More than 100 new mosques have opened in New York, and the Muslim population of the city\u2019s metropolitan area has swelled to 1.5 million.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">September 11th, 2026, is, yes, a grim anniversary, but for me the real sorrow is not just about that awful day, but about everything that came after, the prospect of what lies ahead, and the intractable immensity of our stupidity.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our friend Malcolm is right.\u00a0 But things are now immeasurably worse due to advanced AI capabilities at the disposal of bad human actors who want to learn how to, say, aerosolize pathogens.\u00a0 \u00a0But it is worse even than this given what non-human AI &#8216;agents&#8217; can do.\u00a0 See Niall Ferguson, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefp.com\/p\/niall-ferguson-aipocalypse-now-china-trump-pandemic-financial-collapse?utm_campaign=realclearpolitics\">Apocalypse Now<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If our cyber-astute friend Dmitri is reading this, perhaps he can explain to us how exactly &#8216;agent&#8217; is used in current AI cyberspeak.\u00a0 As he knows, I am a stickler for razor-sharp definitions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malcolm Pollack: What have we learned?
