He was perhaps the original angry white guy. A little search revealed that chainsmoker Pyne died in 1970, at age 44, of lung cancer.<\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><font face=\"Georgia\">He once said to Frank Zappa, &quot;I see you have long hair. You must be a girl.&quot; Zappa: &quot;I see you have a wooden leg. You must be a table.&quot;<\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><font face=\"Georgia\"><em>Addendum<\/em>:&#0160; <a href=\"http:\/\/mises.org\/fellow.aspx?Id=5\">David Gordon<\/a> e-mails:&#0160; &quot; I used to enjoy Joe Pyne too.
