Thus &#39;Heidi Fleiss&#39; is a near <\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aptronym\"><font color=\"#810081\" face=\"Georgia\">aptronym<\/font><\/a><font face=\"Georgia\">, diligent as <\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Heidi_Fleiss\"><font color=\"#810081\" face=\"Georgia\">she<\/font><\/a><font face=\"Georgia\"> was in converting concupiscence into currency.<\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><font face=\"Georgia\">Another interesting German word is <em>Sitzfleisch<\/em>. It too is close in meaning to diligence, staying power. <em>Fleisch<\/em> is meat and <em>Sitz<\/em>, seat, is from the verb <em>sitzen<\/em>, to sit. One who has <em>Sitzfleisch<\/em>, then, has sitting meat. Think of a scholarly grind who sits for long hours poring over tome after tome of arcana. <\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><font face=\"Georgia\">And that reminds me of a story. Max Scheler and Nicolai Hartmann were German philosophers of high repute, though Scheler was more the genius and Hartmann more the grind.
