I happened across a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/liz-cheney-on-why-she-believes-trumps-reelection-would-mean-the-end-of-our-republic\/ar-AA1kVuGF\">very clear example<\/a> on CBS this morning.&#0160; It severely tested my <em>ataraxia<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 14pt;\">Projection is standardly understood as the offloading of the negative onto the other, but it is also often a mistake to project positive feelings, values, and attitudes into the other.
